Dentist Madness
So yesterday, after a long day of school, I had to go to the dentist to get two cavitites filled. I was not looking forward to the shot I would have to get, or the soreness of my jaw from holding my mouth open for so long. However, as they were trying to numb my mouth, the shots were not working. The top half of my mouth went numb, so that cavity got filled, but the bottom half would not go numb! They ended up shooting me a total of FOUR times, but still have no success in numbing my mouth. By that time, I was incredibly sore, and didn’t think I could handle another shot. So we had to reschedule the appointment. When I got home, I discovered that I had swallowed some numbing gel before the shots, and it began to numb my throat. I don’t know if any of you have ever had your throat numbed, but it is the absolute worst feeling. It feels like your throat is closing up and it is very painful to swallow. It didn’t ware off at least 15 hours later. So think twice before you don’t floss. ;)
